A national campaign to bring computers to all schools in Ghana
Supporting a true learning transformation
Computer Education Provided by Trained Experts
Starting 1 September 2018 our campaign is calling individuals, businesses, churches, government organizations and others to commit to donating their end of lifecycle hardware to Computer4schools Ghana. This national campaign will start with Accra and intends to scale up to others part of the country in 2019.
Hardware will be collected and will be donated to schools taking part in an three year integrated learning transformation program supported by their local community. On this website you find all information you need if you want to be part of this national initiative.
DONATE OR TRACK YOUR HARDWARE ?
You can contact us here to donate your hardware or to track your donation.
Financial donations for the Computer4Schools Ghana campaign will be used to finance the logistic operation to collect, refurbish and distribute computers and set up ICT laboratories in schools all over Ghana. The actual expenses will be audited by a chartered accountant and the independent audits will be carried out to guarantee full accountability.
The campaign organization reports to the board of both IIPGH and Maxim Nyansa IT solutions on a regular basis. Financial and audit reports will be published on the campaign website after the closure of each calendar year.
We are very grateful that our work is being sponsored by multiple major donors and businesses who provide us with finances, free hardware, educational materials or trainer. Find more about our donors here.

Our goal is to get as many computers to schools in Ghana as we can, as affordable as possible. Our campaign team therefore welcomes volunteers who are willing to give us a hand to make this happen.
DONORS & SPONSORS
Schools interested to be part of the Computer4schools Ghana campaign can contact the campaign office. In the past, many projects have been carried out to introduce ICT in Ghanaian schools, but not all of those were successful. In order to be eligible for our hardware donations, we expect schools to take part in a three year learning transformation program. Both schools and the local community are asked to financially contribute.
The program is tailor made for your local situation and will always be started by a quick scan. A Memorandum of Understanding will be signed with the main local stakeholders who are ready to actively support the program and ensure its long term sustainability.
For an example of a successful school program you can watch the extensive video of our Learning Transformation program at the Obugu District in the Ashanti Kingdom HERE.
